Scoring Rules
How points are calculated
- Exact score prediction: 10 points.
- Correct winner or correct draw (but wrong exact score): 3 points.
- Knockout draw-decider bonus (only when you predict a draw score):
+3 points for correct winner after extra time, or +6 points for correct winner after penalties.
- Wrong outcome: 0 points.
Prediction Flow
How to submit predictions
- Create an account and sign in.
- Open My Predictions from the top menu.
- Enter home and away goals for each match.
- For knockout matches, if you predict a draw score, optionally select who advances (after extra time or penalties).
- Click Save All Predictions.
- You can edit predictions until kickoff time.
- After kickoff, that match is locked automatically.

- Auto-sync is triggered during page visits, based on the configured interval.
- Signed-in users can force a refresh with Sync Matches Now on the dashboard.
- If no live API key is configured, the platform uses the built-in placeholder schedule.
Leaderboard Logic
How ranking is sorted
- Primary sort: total points (highest first).
- Tie-breaker 1: number of exact-score hits (highest first).
- Tie-breaker 2: username (alphabetical order).
- The leaderboard updates automatically after scores are refreshed and points are recalculated.
